Bioworks Lunch to Focus on Tenn.'s Biosciences

The Memphis Bioworks Business Association will host a luncheon Thursday on the topic of the state of biosciences in Tennessee.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis, Property Search

The featured speaker will be Simon Tripp, senior director of Battelle Technology Partnership Practice.
Ohio-based Battelle is the world’s largest nonprofit independent research and development organization with four global businesses: laboratory management, national security, energy technology and health and life sciences.
The Technology Partnership Practice helps to develop strategic solutions for economic development organizations, industry associations, institutions of higher learning and nonprofit organizations.
The Memphis Bioworks Business Association works to advance the bioscience industry in the region through education, professional networking and advocacy.
